An example map and description of some of our most common surveys are listed below. However we offer many services outside of these examples including:
– Subdivision Plats – Flood Elevation Certificates – Construction Stakeout – Subdividing Large Tracts of Land – Foundation Surveys – And Much More
Most Commonly Requested Surveys
Small Lot Survey
A survey that identifies all property corners, obvious above-ground improvements, and possible encroachments. These services can be offered with or without a map.
Large Boundary Survey
The same services are provided by a lot survey but for properties that are larger tracts of land.
We offer complete services taking your project from a raw tract of land to a finished subdivision.
These are less common but are required by some banks and/or institutions. These surveys have the most detail of any service offered. We abide by an immense checklist and accuracy/precision standard required by the American Land Title Association (ALTA).
Critical Slope Plot Plan
This is typically required for those who desire to build on purchased land that is exceedingly steep in nature. Many planning commissions in this area require these in order to obtain building permits.
An easement may be needed for many differing reasons. For example, easier road access across the neighbor, public sewer/water access, etc.
These surveys are usually required when an addition to an existing structure (“as” the structure is “built”) is wanting to be made. The detail needed for these is based on your individual project.
